merry Christmas giveaway

Friends, here in Lily Land, it’s full-on Christmas mode. I mean to tell you… wrapping paper and scotch tape and stashed presents (in wrapping waiting) cover nearly every surface. I absolutely love Christmastime. Not for the aforementioned things, but for the charity and hope we experience uniquely in this season.

Yes, I can cry at a Christmas carol, and that’s only because they tell a hopeful story that has been proclaimed since Christ’s humble entrance into this otherwise forsaken planet. Speaking of which, I caroled with precious friends just last night. We visited some elderly folks whose faces lit up as their eyes teared up. There is something about singing of the thrill of hope that makes the weary world rejoice. That new and glorious morn beckons to me in the midst of my own personal pain. Oh, night divine… my dark night is divine only because of His flesh appearing.

In that vein, I want to give a gift to my friends and family who have loved me so well. It cannot rival the gift I have received, but is just a small extension of my gratitude. I have had the most incredible cheerleaders (whom have done more than cheer, I assure you). I consider myself ridiculously blessed to have the support and faith of those who believe God in me. Do you have some of those? I hope so. We just can’t do this without them.
